In a previous post, I talked about the work of the church in Joplin, MO. Before that, I wrote about how the church can actually end extreme poverty. These articles, like others I’ve posted, were written to spur The Body on to make the Church better … not just good. I mean, while settle for mediocre when you can achieve greatness, right?
I recently came across two powerful videos that made me cry. [For real, I shed tears.] Both, I believe, hold a mirror up to the face of the Church, causing us to take another look at ourselves and ask, “Why not? Why can’t we be this?”
If we are The Body of Christ, then shouldn’t He determine what face we show to the world? Do we really have a right to show anything other than Him to those around us? May our words be few and our actions be many …
