Welcome to Six:11 Ministries

The purpose of our ministry is simple: proclaim God’s identity and wholeness.

Grounded in biblical truth, Six:11 has a deep passion to reconnect people to their God-given identity, and to help them find fulfilling and lasting wholeness within the Father.

We have a particular burden to challenge churches and GLBT people to center on Jesus together.

Online Support

The main outlet of our ministry is this blog. Through it, we strive to present effective resources, discussion, and insight about topics for the global Church. While we do vary our conversations, the main topic of this blog is homosexuality.

Pastoral Counseling

Please note, I (Shawn) am not a licensed counselor. The type of pastoral counseling I offer to students and adults is centered on spiritual formation and discipleship, not diagnosing and treating mental issues. Counseling can be done via email, phone, or/and face-to-face. All counseling is free. You can connect with me here, or click on the “Need Help?” tab for specific issues.

Teaching and Consulting

Since 2007, Shawn has had the opportunity to teach at churches, colleges, and conferences on topics like sexuality, homosexuality, ministry to gay teens, and God’s identity. I have also done consulting for churches and student ministries on how to meet the needs of the world around them, including those in the GLBT community.
