MISSION & VISION:
The mission of six11 ministries is to proclaim God’s Identity and Wholeness. Grounded in the truth of 1 Corinthians 6:11 , six11 ministries has a passion to reconnect people with their God-given Identity and, in that, to find fulfilling and lasting Wholeness within the Father. While six11 desires to see all of mankind reconnect with these Truths, there is a great burden in our heart to pursue the GLBT Community*, just as God pursues after them.
- six11 ministries strives to carry out its passion through the means of discipleship. six11 is not a “change” therapy/ministry organization, mainly for two reasons: there are plenty of ministries like that already, and one cannot change a person who doesn’t want to be changed. Instead, as stated before, six11 has a passion to reconnect people to the heart of God. This is the sole mission and “agenda” of six11 ministries, nothing more and nothing less.

WHY THE NAME “SIX11″:
Besides being the verse in which this ministry is built around (1 Corinthians 6:11), 6 1 1 also holds another significance. When I (Shawn) started to walk away from my gay life in 1996, I was invited to be a part of a Bible Study called “Living Waters“, which was being run by Harvest USA in Philadelphia PA (where I am from). The main road that I traveled on to get to Harvest was Route 611. Through the work and friendships at Harvest, the Lord started me on a journey (back) to His heart. God used Route 611 to get me there … as I believe He is going to use six11 ministries to bring others back as well.

MINISTRIES OFFERED:
- six11 ministries offers sound, biblical teaching on issues such as: teenage sexuality, purity issues (adults and teens), homosexuality, and God’s Identity / Wholeness; through seminars, workshops, Sunday school sessions, youth group meetings, Sunday AM/PM services, and the like.
- six11 ministries has started a “group” in Fort Wayne, Indiana, every other Tuesday night, from 6:30pm till 8:30pm. The group is hosted at Level 13 Church. Find directions here. For more information, contact Shawn Harrison (below).

I am overwhelmed at your heartfelt testimony and how God has worked through your pain toward Him. It is God who works through us, both to will and to do, for HIS pleasure. You have been chosen for a much needed and difficult ministry. My own son, Sean, died at 21 from drugs (officially, an accident ). I believe he had bisexual issues, and wonder if the drugs and alcohol were to numb the pain and if it was really an accident. I know and love your family (your mom, Brandon & Nicholas). My prayers are with you.
